I'm writing this from my hotel room in Taormina, Sicily, thinking about AI.
We are going through one of the most incredible tech revolutions since the arrival of the internet and day by day AI continues to be the disruptor everyone feared - but it won't truly take our jobs, will it? Feels a little like that game Detroit: Become Human doesn't it?
AI is now and will always be with us, we will never know another time again without AI, and it makes me wonder, do we know what's coming?
Sam Altman claims he walks around with a ChatGPT kill switch on his person at all times should "things go sideways" with AI.
What needs to happen for that to occur? It makes me think whether we have really defined what we swore we'd never let happen with AI, when have we gone too far?
